This composite image captures the Moon moving into the Earth's shadow from just after 4 a.m. until just prior to 5:30 a.m. as seen over Lake Ashby near Warrenton, Virginia. In the upper left corner is the star, Aldebaran and the Pleiadas star cluster is just above the Moon.

A little late afternoon, Veterans Day relaxation just after sunset and captured The following morning, I captured the airliner as it passed just below the Moon as seen from my driveway in Bristow, VA.

The Moon, March 4, 2021
While waiting for Jupiter and Mercury to clear the polluted (with humidity/clouds) horizon on this morning, I shot this image of the Moon. Hanging in the sky about 30 degrees above the southern horizon, it's viewing was free from the challenges on the horizon to the east. I find shooting the Moon when it is from about 1/3 to 2/3 full is the best to see the crater details.

Purely by "accident" while out on Rollins Ford Rd taking photos of the rising Super Moon in the early evening, noticed the airliner just before crossing in between. Hadn't even thought of trying to capture such an image before this. Now, it's kind of an obsession whenever the conditions are right.
