had some association with Eagle
Fine Art Gallery (now closed) in La Jolla, CA for the past 10 years or so. In all that time,
it has always been Angelo who greeted me with
a warm smile and friendly handshake. (He
passed away in 2009.) Imagine my surprise, and a pleasant one at
that, when one evening recently I was greeted by this lovely lady, whose artwork is on
display at the gallery. Stephanie is
not only a wonderful artist (you can see her artwork at www.stephaniclair.com), but her
personality is as joyful and bright as the colors she chooses to apply to the
canvas. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to spend some time photographing
