Julie Bell - All In the Family

Sadly, the Last of the Original Furry and Feathered Family has Passed

Stormy, the four-legged Queen of the House, passed away this week.  Our friend and artist, Julie Bell, painted the family portrait pictured to the left a few years ago.  Click this link to read the email that began this journey and then click their names to view their stories as I described to Julie and see the photos that resulted in this wonderful piece of work.

Faith with her grandchildren - May 2003

In Honor of Faith Cravens

February 16, 1942 - December 24, 2009

My Mother-in-Law passed away in the early evening of Christmas Eve after a battle with cancer.  It was not unexpected and even less surprising that it was on her favorite day of the year.

She departed peacefully, and I guess that is what we all ultimately would have wanted.

She will be missed.........

In October 2006, I had the honor of photographing the internment of Major General Thomas Norville Wilson at Arlington National Cemetery.  With his new headstone now in place, and the grass filling in around it, I photographed his place of honor this past Memorial Day weekend.  Some of the black & white photographs are in a special gallery HERE, posted with the kind permission of his family.

I played the unofficial photographer spot at Leslie and Greg's wedding on 30 May 2003.  This link will take you to the page where all the photographs fit for print will be located.
